Alexxis Briviesca
Associate and Fellow
Alexxis Briviesca (she/her) is an Associate at Logos Consulting Group and a Fellow at the Logos Institute for Crisis Management and Executive Leadership.
Prior to joining Logos, Alexxis served as the inaugural Outreach and Education Senior Manager at the Stonewall National Monument Visitor
Center (SNMVC), the nation's first LGBTQ+ visitor center within the National Park Service. As the organization's first full-time employee, she built the foundation for the education and public programs department, leading a year-round portfolio that expanded access to lesser-known LGBTQ+ history and restorative justice initiatives.
Grounded in liberation education and theatre pedagogy, Alexxis has dedicated her career to mentoring, violence prevention, and expanding opportunities for LGBTQ+ communities. She previously served as the inaugural Senior Program Manager of LGBTQ+ Programming at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City, where she championed critical mentoring and violence prevention for LGBTQ+ youth. She began her career as an educator with Speak About It, traveling across the country to facilitate conversations on consent, healthy relationships, and sexual violence prevention, and later founded a Gender and Sexuality Alliance at LEAP, a youth arts organization.
Alexxis lives in Park Slope and when she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog Ripley, or exploring New York City’s best bakeries.
