The Logos Institute for Crisis Management & Executive Leadership celebrated New York University graduates last week. The firm opened its doors on Thursday, May 19, for an Open House to celebrate 2016 graduates, families, faculty, administrators, and friends of New York University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) master’s degree program in public relations and corporate communication (PRCC).
More than 130 guests attended the Logos Open House, which served as an opportunity to keep the graduation festivities going between Wednesday’s All NYU Commencement at Yankee Stadium and Friday’s SPS Convocation at Radio City Music Hall.
Logos Institute was proud to host the event, as Logos fellows are especially involved in supporting the PRCC program. Helio Fred Garcia, Laurel Hart, Kristin Johnson, Raleigh Mayer and Oxana Trush, all serve as past and present professors and capstone advisers in the program. Adam Tiouririne and Iris Wenting Xue also served as capstone advisers.
For the 2015-2016 academic year, Logos advised 18 PRCC graduates, which comprises 10 percent of the graduating Class of 2016.
Additionally, Garcia and Johnson represented the NYU PRCC faculty and administrator “platform party” on stage at Friday’s SPS convocation ceremony at Radio City Music Hall.
Logos team members will continue to teach and advise NYU SPS PRCC students into the summer and 2016-2017 academic year. Students will periodically be invited to contribute guest blog posts on www.logosconsulting.net as well, such as the most recent, “Surviving Online Shaming,” by 2016 graduate Maura Yates.
