When Mattel's toy recall brought the safety of Chinese-made products to the front pages, Advertising Age magazine sought expert commentary on how companies can protect themselves from consumer backlash. Logos Institute executive director Helio Fred Garcia provided the following commentary: "Any product made in China is now vulnerable. You don't want to be the company that seemed not to care when the world noticed that Chinese products were unsafe." For more, see:
